A Thailand-themed festival will open in Wujiang District on Saturday, bringing nine days of Thai food, goodies, music and festivities. Visitors can immerse themselves in the sights, sounds and flavors unique to the Southeast Asian country.
Over 20 stalls will serve a variety of Thai specialties, including Thai milk tea, tom yum-flavored chicken rolls, oyster omelets and Pattaya-style slushies.
Twelve cultural and creative product stalls will offer eco-friendly embroidered bags, original merchandise, handmade silver jewelry and Thai fragrance, among others.
Visitors can also try Thai hair braiding and massage, watch Thai costume parades, join bubble parties and water-splashing celebrations, and make Thai dishes themselves.
