Specialized equipment project signed in Zhangjiagang

A specialized equipment and core components manufacturing project was signed in Jinfeng town, Zhangjiagang, on Sept 5.

The project is a joint venture between Shazhou Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Co and South Korea's JM Plant Co, with a total investment of 600 million yuan ($89.41 million). Once fully operational, it is expected to generate annual revenue of 700 million yuan, with an annual output exceeding 400 units of specialized equipment and more than 1 million supporting tools and instruments.

Shazhou Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Co is a national-level high-tech enterprise specializing in high-end equipment manufacturing, with its products widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemicals, and construction machinery. 

South Korea's JM Plant Co, meanwhile, focuses on the research, development and supply of specialized valves, precision components, and complete industrial equipment. The company boasts global project delivery capabilities, a comprehensive quality control system and experience in managing multinational projects.

Jinfeng town is currently accelerating efforts to build a new hub for high-end equipment manufacturing. The signing and implementation of the China-South Korea joint venture mark another important achievement in deepening international cooperation and advancing manufacturing. The town will continue to improve its business environment and provide strong support to facilitate early construction and production of the project.
