2026 Osmanthus Market kicks off at Guihua Park

Osmanthus is the city flower of Suzhou. The 2026 Osmanthus Market will run from September 23 to October 25 at Guihua Park (Osmanthus Park). Hosted by the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Gardens and Landscaping and organized by the Suzhou Municipal Urban Park Management Office, this 33-day cultural event features over 60 stalls open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering visitors an immersive osmanthus culture experience.

The market is divided into four themed zones. The national osmanthus products exhibition is the biggest highlight, bringing together distinctive goods from major osmanthus-producing regions such as Xianning, Guilin, Hangzhou, and Qingzhou. Visitors can also purchase seasonal agricultural products, intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, and osmanthus-themed cultural and creative products, as well as taste a rich variety of traditional and trendy osmanthus-flavored delicacies.

A lineup of performances and themed activities will be staged throughout the festival. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional Chinese-style concert and a lantern riddle guessing activity will be presented. During the National Day holiday, a fish lantern parade will light up the market, with artistic performances taking the stage one after another.
